The Bahá'í Faith, founded in Persia, is a monotheistic religion that emphasizes the spiritual unity of all humanity.

Although there is no single official symbol representing the Bahá'í Faith, several symbols are commonly used within the community.

Nine-Pointed Star

The nine-pointed star is a widely recognized symbol among Bahá'ís. The number nine holds deep significance in the Bahá'í Revelation for several reasons.

Firstly, it represents completeness and unity. Nine years after the Báb's declaration in Shiraz, Bahá'u'lláh received His revelation in the dungeon of Tehran. Being the highest single-digit number, nine symbolizes fulfillment.

The Bahá'í Faith views itself as the culmination of the teachings of previous religions, and this sense of completion is reflected in the nine-sided architecture of Bahá'í temples.

Moreover, in the Arabic alphabet, each letter has a numerical value, and the value of the word "Bahá" is nine.

This adds an additional layer of significance to the symbol, reinforcing its importance within the Bahá'í Faith.
